What is defragmentation? Well it's basically gives your computer a good old spring clean so it works more effectively and faster. Did you know that everything you do on your computer takes some space-many people don't realize this is not only the upload of files, but even just looking at the Web page uses. In time it becomes wasted space and it also slows down all. Fortunately there's a simple solution.
Cleaning is a two-step process. Step one gets rid of everything that does not need to be so immediately you free up extra space. Second step takes care of defragmentation. This is not as weird as it sounds! This means that when files are deleted, they leave the place, but this place is more like a hole or gap. Defragging repair all the holes and gaps, giving you a completely new space to work with and reuse.
It's good housekeeping and he only needs to make about every few months or so. The good news is that your computer does all the hard work for you. Just a few clicks of the mouse finds all unnecessary files, delete them, and then it defragments. Easy!
Important note: step one can take an hour or so, and two step can take several hours or more, depending on the size of your mess! Select the appropriate time for this-it's a good time to make two steps and let it run while you sleep the sleep. This will all be worth it in the morning!
Step one-delete unnecessary files
Go to start – this is the green button on the left at the bottom of the screen, click Start, and then click my computer. Or you can have my computer on your desktop that will open a new window, where you will see local disk C is your main hard drive. This is where cleaning takes place. right-click on it and choose Properties. Another window will appear-you three things: how much space do you have a total of how much space you've used and how much space remains free for use.Jot down the second two shapes, so you can see for yourself what you really need more space to use when you're done-this is optional! now click on Disk Cleanup. Another window opens showing you all the files that you can remove and the amount of space they occupy. Select all the fields and click the OK button will now delete unneeded files, it may take some time to leave this window open for step 2.Step two-defragmentation
When a step is completed, click "Tools" in the same window, click Defragment now and a new window opens click analysis-again, this will show you the before and after Defrag ... click on "OK" and start Defragging. Remember that it takes some time after Defragging will need to restart your computer. And voila! You have just deleted the files that are wasting space on your computer and then defragged extra space. All neat and tidy and now will work much more efficiently. Well done!
